Mental Health Social Work Specialist

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Mental Health Senior Social Worker/AMHP to join their Essex team. With an estimated salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, this role offers a competitive package and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.
This position is responsible for providing supervision, specialist advice, and expertise to AMHPs, contributing to the development of practice standards. The successful candidate will be accountable for assessments undertaken under the Mental Health Act, working within the statutory legal framework, policy, and guidance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality supervision, specialist advice, and expertise to AMHPs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Lead on complex assessments under the Mental Health Act, ensuring accurate and timely decision-making.
- Collaborate with the deputy team manager to coordinate, triage, and allocate incoming referrals to the service, promoting efficient workflow.
- Work closely with the team to develop and maintain best practice standards, ensuring excellence in mental health care.
The successful candidate will have a social work qualification or equivalent and excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. A flexible working arrangement and support for employee wellbeing and counselling are also offered.
