Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Job Description:

You will work at the forefront of our community mental health treatment teams in the Mid Essex area (Chelmsford), providing EPUT's secondary mental health services. Your role will involve assessing and intervening with service users experiencing a wide range of mental health problems, promoting recovery and independence.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of strength and asset-based approaches, promoting social inclusion with individuals and families. You will also implement the personalisation agenda through strengths-based assessments and deliver statutory social care duties and responsibilities within the Care Act (2014).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience working in community mental health settings
  • Knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and its implications for social care
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
