Child and Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner

We are recruiting for a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Derby and Derbyshire. As part of our Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in education settings, you will provide vital support to children and young people, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure they receive the right help, at the right time.
Key Responsibilities- You will work with children and young people who have mental health needs, completing mental health assessments, providing practice supervision and support, and delivering specialist care directly to children and young people and their families.
- You will also work with designated senior mental health leads in each setting, supporting them to increase mental health awareness within the staff group, and providing timely advice to school and college staff and parents as required.
- Your expertise will enable you to develop and deliver effective mental health interventions, ensuring children and young people receive the best possible support to thrive.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 27 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 32 days over time. You will also receive life assurance at 2 x basic salary, a competitive contributory pension scheme, family-friendly policies, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme and OH service.
