About the Job:

We are seeking a Child Development Expert to join our specialist ASD team at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders/Neurodevelopmental Conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and create tailored intervention plans for each child or adolescent
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educators to ensure cohesive support
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in child development and autism treatment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC)
  • Proven experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorders
