Role Overview

As a dedicated SEN Tutor for children with special needs, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each pupil.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of each pupil
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods, such as PECs and Intensive Interaction, to enhance pupil engagement and learning outcomes

Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have previous experience working as an SEN Teacher, preferably in a similar setting
  • Demonstrate expertise in adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of pupils with complex learning needs
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
