Supporting Young Adults with Special Needs as a SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN teaching professional to support students aged 16-22 with various learning difficulties at our college in Ealing. As a Postgraduate Level PMLD Tutor, you will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic and personal growth of our students.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or a NARIC-certified equivalent. A valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is also required. Responsibilities
- Create engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of our students
- Provide individualized support to students with Autism and complex social and communication difficulties
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement strategies that promote student success
