Job Description: As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a student on a one-to-one basis and assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

  • Provide one-to-one support for a student with additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, or other developmental challenges.
  • Support the student's social development and help them engage with peers during group activities and classroom discussions.
  • Help maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages all students to succeed.
  • Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications: You will need experience working with children with SEN in a school or childcare setting. A strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning difficulties is also essential.

  • A minimum salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
