Child Psychotherapist Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to fill a Principal position within our team. As a highly skilled professional, you will be responsible for leading our psychotherapy service and providing clinical supervision to colleagues.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior therapist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of our service. You will work closely with our Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and other senior team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people.
With a strong background in child and adolescent psychotherapy, you will have a minimum of 4 years' experience working in a CAMHS setting. You will be able to demonstrate your expertise in psychoanalytic theories and models of development, psychopathology, family, and institutional dynamics.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working with difficult, disturbed, and challenging children and young people, requiring skilled and complex psychotherapeutic understanding and interventions. They will also have significant experience of representing child and adolescent psychotherapy within multidisciplinary and multi-agency treatment and care settings.
A competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum is available for this role, reflecting the importance of the position and the skills required. The post is based in Macclesfield, with occasional travel to Crewe.
