Child Placement Support Position

iPeople Solutions is recruiting for a Fostering Social Worker to join our team in Macclesfield, Cheshire East. As a Fostering Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our foster carers and helping us achieve our goal of placing children in safe and nurturing environments.

Your key duties will include:

  • Regular supervision of approved foster carers to ensure they meet regulatory requirements
  • Co-ordination of annual reviews of foster carer practice and performance, developing learning and development plans, and presenting reports to the fostering panel
  • Participation in the duty rota and contribution to family finding for children who require long-term foster placements

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Fostering Social Worker who can:

  • Work collaboratively with our foster carers, children, and families
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Manage complex casework and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
