We are seeking an experienced SEND Support Team Lead to join our team at Service Care Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our SEND support team, you will be responsible for coordinating assessments, planning, and support for children with SEND, working collaboratively with multi-agency teams.

The ideal candidate will have extended experience in early years, school, college, Local Authority, health, or independent settings in relation to children and young people with special educational needs and disability. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work effectively with families or young people, and understand their needs and requirements.

You will also have a strong understanding of multi-agency working, including Statutory Assessment (SEND, Child Protection etc.), and be able to review, monitor, and evaluate performance against agreed targets. Additionally, you will have the ability to work with and deliver support/careers guidance/advisory services to children/young people and their parents.

As a SEND Support Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring resources for SEND support and EHCPs are allocated, monitored, and reviewed, including guidance on personal budgets and outcome measures for reporting progress. You will also represent the Local Authority in mediation and appeals, including First Tier Tribunal (SEN and Disability).

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
