Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sales Lead to join our team and contribute to our vocational education initiatives in the UK – Midlands region. This role offers a challenging opportunity to drive sales growth, build strategic partnerships, and enhance our market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance and Growth: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, identify new opportunities through targeted prospecting, presentations, and data-driven approaches, and deliver accurate and timely financial forecasts and commercial performance reporting.
  • Market Insights and Data-Driven Strategy: Analyse and leverage local & regional market data and trends to refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Account and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, collaborate with internal lead account management efforts by aligning Pearson's curriculum solutions with educational institutions' needs, driving customer satisfaction, and fostering lasting, growth-oriented relationships.
  • Customer Engagement and Training: Deliver proactive customer support to enhance satisfaction and retention, responding to centre queries promptly, and promote training events that deepen product usage and loyalty.
  • Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Provide clear, data-rich reports and feedback to support strategic planning and ensure timely adjustments to align with market demands and business goals.
Requirements and Benefits
  • Minimum Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or a related field, proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, valid driver's license, and access to a car for travel.
  • Salary and Benefits: Competitive base salary (£55,000 - £65,000 per annum) plus bonus, training and professional development opportunities, attractive pension scheme, benefits such as health and dental, travel allowance, and opportunities for career advancement and growth within the company.
