Job Title: Logistics and Shipping Coordinator

AV Dawson is seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Shipping Coordinator to join our team at the Port of Middlesbrough. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily shipping operations and port logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and plan vessel movements using AV Dawson's berths.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with port operations personnel, agencies, and customers.
  • Provide daily shipping updates and forward views to stakeholders.
  • Analyse data and produce reports to support business decisions.
  • Utilise the customer relationship management system (CRM) to manage customer interactions.
  • Support customer account management, including contract renewals and review meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to the Commercial, Marketing, and Shipping teams.
  • Attend exhibitions, events, and meetings as required.

As a Logistics and Shipping Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our port logistics.
