AV Dawson, a leading freight logistics service provider, is seeking a skilled Logistics and Shipping Coordinator to join its team at the Port of Middlesbrough.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the Port operation, coordinating daily shipping operations and port logistics.

  • Coordinate and plan vessels using AV Dawson's berths.
  • Liaise daily with port operations personnel, agencies, and customers, providing forward views and shipping updates.
  • Build relationships and act as a point of contact between internal and external parties.
  • Analyze data and produce reports.
  • Utilize the customer relationship management system (CRM).
  • Complete accurate job costings where required.
  • Support customer account management, including maintaining a schedule of review meetings and contract renewals.
  • Provide general administrative support within the Commercial, Marketing, and shipping teams.
  • Attend exhibitions, events, and meetings when required.
