Job Overview


This is an exciting opportunity to join Havering Education Services' award-winning internal communications team as a Strategic Communications Specialist.


We are looking for a talented and tech-savvy individual who wants to make their mark in a communications role and take the next step in their career.


You will be responsible for creating and implementing a range of communications strategies to engage our 3,000 staff and promote our services to Havering residents.


To be successful in this role, you will need to be naturally creative in your approach, confident in your abilities, and well-versed in using a range of platforms to produce on and offline content, including graphics, videos, and newsletters.


You will work at the heart of a busy communications team, collaborating with a number of people and services across the council.
