Job Description Summary:
We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team at Be Free Young Carers. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using multiple programming languages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and define technical roadmaps.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, create technical documentation, and participate in training and mentoring of junior team members.
- Identify and prioritize technical debt.
Requirements:
- Expertise in multiple programming languages.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability and ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent debugging skills and troubleshooting abilities.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
