Homes for Students is seeking a Sales Strategy Director to join our Sales team based in Reading, working 40 hours per week, from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will deliver a robust sales strategy across allocated properties, work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve occupancy targets and maximise revenue opportunities.

The Sales Strategy Director will encourage behaviours and activity that increase lead generation, conversion, and retention. The role is based remotely, but the successful candidate will be required to spend part of the working week visiting the properties allocated to their geographical area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Launch and deliver a sales strategy per property, that achieves both occupancy and revenue targets.
  • Monitor the key sales metrics and demographic indicators within the cycle, spotting and acting upon trends, concerns and opportunities.
  • Highlight opportunities to drive revenue within the sales cycle and communicate required changes to the relevant internal teams and clients.
  • Manage the client relationship from a sales perspective.
  • Drive retention, ensuring rebooker targets are met, all potential customers have been targeted and there is onsite activity to support this.
  • Track all sales metrics ensuring customers have a clear journey through our sales funnel.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in managing sales, sales teams, business development and sales conversion metrics.
  • Analytical – experience of managing budgets and writing reports.
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Project Management and delivery - good presentation skills in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and to tight deadlines as well as to work as part of a team.
