We are seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Services Coordinator to join our team at Polaris Community, responsible for leading a team to ensure the care and welfare of young males aged 13-18 in a rural environment.

This full-time permanent position involves developing and implementing strategies to meet individual care needs, planning activities, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Residential Support Workers, focusing on best practice and policy compliance.
  • Evaluate and improve care practices, using data and feedback to inform decision-making.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse groups.
  • Experience working with teenagers, particularly those with complex needs.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.

The salary for this role is approximately £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
