Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on employee wellbeing initiatives, including workplace adjustments, long-term sickness management, and employee reintegration. You will oversee a team of colleagues and work closely with line managers, occupational health professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of comprehensive wellbeing programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote employee wellbeing, improve attendance, and reduce absenteeism.
  • Manage and lead a team of colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective absence management protocols.
  • Lead on complex employment law matters related to employee wellbeing and conduct investigations as necessary.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive reintegration plans to support employees returning from extended absences.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in employee wellbeing, HR, or a related field, with experience in managing teams and driving employee health and workplace adjustment initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, best practices, and formal processes for managing employee absences.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve wellbeing programs.
  • A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Experience in working with diverse stakeholder groups, including employees, managers, and external partners.
