Youth Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Youth Wellbeing Specialist to join our team in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will provide specialist support and advice to children and young people aged 0-25 experiencing low-level mental health issues.
About the Role- Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and strategies.
- Support children and young people through drop-in and crisis work, making referrals as needed.
- Promote the service in the local community, schools, and colleges.
The service operates from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays, with some flexibility for shift arrangements.
Requirements- Experience of working with children/young people who have suffered from mental health issues.
- Knowledge of the issues faced by children, young people, and adults when accessing mental health services.
- Strong understanding of child safeguarding and an enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service.
The salary for this position is £17 per hour, with part-time and full-time positions available. We offer a competitive package, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive team environment.
