About the Role

As a Wellbeing Support Specialist, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, promoting the wellbeing and independence of our service users. Your primary goal will be to support individuals in maintaining their own health and wellbeing, including assistance with medication needs and access to medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support service users in maintaining their own health and wellbeing
  • Assist with medication management and access to medical professionals
  • Engage in social activities to promote community integration
  • Monitor and report on the progress of service users
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and Autism
  • Ability to follow detailed support plans to ensure a consistent approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in first aid and manual handling is desirable
