About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Data Developer to oversee the development, maintenance, and deployment of data projects and pipelines across SEGA and its studios. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the value of data-driven decision-making throughout the business and inspiring teams to leverage data.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow Data Developers and Data Scientists to find solutions to complex data challenges.
- Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and systems responsible for importing, storing, and reporting on a variety of data sources.
- Present recommendations and findings to key stakeholders within the business, taking on feedback but also being comfortable with defending challenges to your findings as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience working within a data analysis/engineering role.
- High-level knowledge of SQL and good knowledge of Python/Scala plus experience in a cloud big data warehouse technology such as Amazon Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake.
- Experience of data visualisation packages such as Power BI / Tableau.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
Estimated Salary Range:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
