Job Title: Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

DiverseJobsMatter is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Administrator to manage our in-house monthly payroll cycle and benefits administration for our 950 employees across 5 UK entities.

The successful candidate will ensure all payroll and benefits processes are completed efficiently, on time, and accurately. They will work closely with the HR team to collect payroll data, enter it into the payroll system (Workday), and manually enter data as required. Additionally, they will pay disbursements, manage parental leave calculations, and process tax year-end processes.

The ideal candidate will have considerable payroll experience, previous experience managing benefits, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. They must be able to work independently, manage deadlines, and have strong numerical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full end-to-end processing of our monthly in-house payroll.
  • Collect payroll data from HR contacts at each studio and enter it into the payroll system.
  • Manually enter data as required.
  • Paying necessary disbursements.
  • Managing parental leave calculations.
  • Ensuring all tax year-end processes are completed.
  • Processing the monthly pension upload.
  • Working closely with the Finance team for payroll reconciliations.
  • Reviewing processes to ensure optimisation.
  • Collaborating with the systems team to configure business processes in Workday.
  • Taking ownership for payroll compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Considerable payroll experience.
  • Previous experience managing benefits.
  • Experience processing payroll via Workday Payroll.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to work towards deadlines and structure project work around payroll deadlines.
  • Confident managing payroll independently.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of UK legislation and regulations.
