Recovery Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey, providing guidance, and helping them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular contact with service users, offering advice, information, and psycho-social interventions.
- Provide assessments, risk management planning, and work closely with clinical staff around prescribing needs and partner agencies.
- Act as a key worker to a caseload of service users, supporting them to decide their goals around treatment and develop plans to achieve these.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of substance and alcohol use and the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with a range of service users and colleagues, manage different tasks, and be committed to Turning Point values.

We offer a competitive salary of £24,150 with annual pay progression up to £28,252.
