Job Introduction
Are you passionate about supporting individuals in their recovery journey? Turning Point's drug and alcohol services are expanding, and we're looking for dedicated professionals to join our team. As a Recovery Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals and build a brighter future.
We offer a range of roles in different teams, including community-based treatment services and criminal justice rehabilitation and recovery services. Our team works closely with the Probation Services, Prisons, and Police to provide a rapid, tailored response to individuals, supporting their recovery and rehabilitation.
As a Recovery Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. You'll work closely with service users, providing assessments, risk management planning, and psycho-social interventions. You'll also have the chance to progress your career with a structured learning journey and clearly defined career pathways.
Role Responsibility
As a Recovery Worker, you'll act as a key worker to a caseload of service users, supporting them to decide their goals around treatment and develop plans to achieve these. You'll maintain regular contact with your clients, offering advice, information, and psycho-social interventions. You'll also provide assessments, risk management planning, and work closely with our clinical staff around prescribing needs and partner agencies.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for individuals who share our values and are passionate about supporting others. You'll have an understanding of substance and alcohol use and the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey. You'll also have excellent communication skills and be able to work dynamically on a one-to-one and group basis.
