Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey, providing guidance, and promoting positive change in their lives.
About the RoleAs a Recovery Worker, you will be responsible for working closely with service users, assessing their needs, and developing personalized plans to support their recovery. You will also provide regular contact, advice, and psycho-social interventions, as well as collaborating with clinical staff and partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide key worker support to a caseload of service users, promoting their recovery and well-being
- Assess and develop personalized plans to support service users' recovery goals
- Offer regular contact, advice, and psycho-social interventions to service users
- Collaborate with clinical staff and partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support
- Manage risk and develop risk management plans to ensure service users' safety
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of substance and alcohol use, as well as the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey. You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, a commitment to Turning Point's values, and the ability to work dynamically on a one-to-one and group basis.
