Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a leading health and social care provider, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services that make a real difference in the lives of our service users.

The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting individuals who are struggling with substance use and mental health issues. You will work closely with a caseload of service users, providing guidance, support, and psycho-social interventions to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular contact with service users to provide ongoing support and guidance
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each service user
  • Work closely with clinical staff to provide assessments, risk management planning, and prescribing support
  • Provide psycho-social interventions, including group and one-to-one sessions, to help service users overcome challenges and achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure seamless care and support for service users

Requirements

  • Experience working in a health and social care setting, preferably in substance use and mental health services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills
