Fairford Associates is now accepting applications for an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead sales efforts and expand its market share in the manned guarding industry.
About this PositionThis critical role demands a seasoned professional who can leverage their expertise to identify fresh business opportunities, forge lasting connections with clients, and ultimately secure lucrative contracts.
Main Responsibilities- Develop innovative strategies to uncover new business prospects and convert them into profitable contracts
- Nurture and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients
- Apply in-depth knowledge of the sales cycle to facilitate successful lead conversion
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve collective business objectives
- At least two years of experience in manned guarding sales, ideally in a comparable role
- Exhaustive knowledge of the sales process, from initial prospecting to contract closure
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Able to relocate to a convenient location accessible by public transportation
- Annual salary: Approximately £40,000, inclusive of performance-based bonuses
- Package includes a company vehicle or allowance, work phone, and laptop
- Performance incentives: 1% base, 1% for meeting targets, and 2% for exceeding targets
- Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus Bank Holidays
- Pension scheme: NEST, with upgrade options available
