Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Academic Programme Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of academic programmes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and relevance. This will involve working closely with faculty members, staff, and external partners to design and implement effective curriculum frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of academic programme curricula;
  • Collaborate with faculty members to design and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences;
  • Work with the attendance team to maintain accurate attendance records;
  • Set assessments for students and support them in submitting their work on time;
  • Participate in standardisation and moderation meetings as required;
  • Provide formative and summative feedback to students within published deadlines;
  • Monitor student engagement and performance, signposting them to specialist services as necessary;
  • Contribute to programme evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
  • Proven experience in academic programme leadership; excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment; ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
  • Possess excellent organisational and time management skills;

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
