Job Description

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a market-leading construction and plant hire firm that prioritizes sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the employee life-cycle, issuing contracts, onboarding, booking training, and offboarding.
  • Draft contracts and necessary correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collate and issue new starter packs efficiently at all levels, supporting the payroll team with new starters' setup and changes.
  • Track probationary periods, conduct DBS and RTW checks, and manage the team inbox.
  • Support the wider HR team in larger-scale projects and admin tasks or research when needed.

To Be Successful

  • Prior experience supporting a People Team, as an administrator, coordinator, or advisor.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and ISO 27001.
  • Genuine team-player with solutions-focused and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards desirable.
