Administrative Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Spencer-Richardson. The successful candidate will have solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and distribute workload effectively, remaining highly organized at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of driver holidays and absence.
- Work closely with the Sweeper Manager and Transport Manager to provide collaborative support across the function.
- Accurately complete timesheets for the team.
- Support vehicle inspections and compliance events with the Transport Manager.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve standards where possible.
- Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met across the department.
- Identify and report any potential department savings.
- Supply weekly timesheets to payroll.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to update arrivals and address queries.
Requirements for Success:
- A genuine team player with a drive to succeed in all tasks.
- Experience in an administrative role within a construction, asset rental, or waste management company is preferred.
- Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Natural ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with plant machinery and willingness to learn.
- Ability to hold oneself to high standards.

Spencer-Richardson is a market-leading construction firm prioritizing sustainability in the industry. We offer a competitive salary range of £27,000 - £31,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
