About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Spencer-Richardson. The successful candidate will have solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and distribute workload effectively, remaining highly organized at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of driver holidays and absence.
  • Work closely with the Sweeper Manager and Transport Manager to provide collaborative support across the function.
  • Accurately complete timesheets for the team.
  • Support vehicle inspections and compliance events with the Transport Manager.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve standards where possible.
  • Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met across the department.
  • Identify and report any potential department savings.
  • Supply weekly timesheets to payroll.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to update arrivals and address queries.

Requirements for Success:

  • A genuine team player with a drive to succeed in all tasks.
  • Experience in an administrative role within a construction, asset rental, or waste management company is preferred.
  • Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Natural ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with plant machinery and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to hold oneself to high standards.

Spencer-Richardson is a market-leading construction firm prioritizing sustainability in the industry. We offer a competitive salary range of £27,000 - £31,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
