Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will manage the Ocorian London office's corporate services offering, focusing on company secretarial services for designated corporate clients. This involves active management of deadlines and timescales to ensure successful delivery. The role also requires working closely with the business development team to develop new business opportunities.

  • Provide company secretarial support for setting up corporate entities and limited partnerships in the UK, maintaining company records, share and registrar functions, and system maintenance.
  • Prepare agendas, notices, proxies, and supporting documents for general meetings, liaising with relevant legal advisors as necessary.
  • Input changes into Viewpoint/NavOne systems according to agreed procedures and ensure corporate documents are scanned and indexed in the Document Management System correctly.
  • Offer related support services as required and assist in producing monthly reporting and statistics on the performance of the Company Secretarial department.
  • Contribute to preparing new business proposals and liaise with the corporate sales team to support business development.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in a company secretarial or corporate services role within the UK, preferably with listed experience. Holding a CGI/STEP qualification or equivalent is advantageous. Excellent presentational and client service skills are essential, along with good writing skills for concise and accurate minutes. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, and willingness to learn new software packages like Board Intelligence are necessary. Strong organisational and planning skills are required to reduce operational pressures and plan ahead to meet service standards.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Note: This salary estimate may vary based on individual circumstances.
