Customer Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Customer Services Technician to join our team in the Teesside region. As a key member of our Customer Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.
Main Responsibilities- Carry out defect repairs in occupied properties, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
- Liaise with nominated contractors and suppliers to coordinate remedial works in occupied homes, promoting effective solutions to complex problems.
- Collaborate with your Line Manager to develop and implement effective solutions to complex remedial activity, driving continuous improvement.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues, particularly site teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Liaise with the Customer Service Hub to ensure timely completion of remedial activity and effective communication with customers.
- Work effectively and efficiently to complete assigned tasks, adhering to charter timescales and upholding the core values of Miller Homes.
- Act professionally, courteously, and with dignity at all times, ensuring exceptional customer service and internal stakeholder engagement.
To succeed in this role, you will require a sound understanding of NHBC Technical Standards & Guidelines, as well as the ability to use your own initiative to problem-solve and make informed decisions.
A clean driving license and time-served tradesperson experience are essential, along with excellent communication skills, a keen work ethic, and a desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
