Mental Health Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support professional to join our team at Academics. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students aged 4-16.

Your key responsibilities will include working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support and guidance to students, helping to implement strategies and interventions that promote academic growth, confidence, and resilience. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement mental health initiatives that benefit the entire school community.

Key Skills and Qualities

  • Experience working with children and young people in a mental health or educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories
  • Understanding of mental health principles and practices
