About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Dovehaven Care Homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of person-centred care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and supportive living environment.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents, promoting their well-being and quality of life.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring residents' needs are met and their preferences are respected.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a residential care home.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support, promoting dignity and respect for all residents.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification desirable.
