Sandstone Care Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Support Worker to join our team at Oak Springs Care Home.

As a Domestic Support Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring the cleanliness of common areas, resident bedrooms, and bathrooms, adhering to strict infection control protocols, and assisting with laundry duties as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the care home, including communal spaces, resident rooms, and restrooms.
  • Adhere to established infection control procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
  • Assist with laundry duties, such as washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens and clothing.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who possess excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional care. Previous experience in cleaning and laundry roles is preferred but not essential.
