About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Manager to join our ION EMEA Commodities Account Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand our client base.
  • Manage the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Professional Services and Corporate Sales, to create commercial proposals and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in the accuracy of invoicing and debt collection, working closely with the sales support organization.
  • Coordinate with opportunity teams to identify and close new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience, with a strong track record of new business development in the commodities trade and risk management arena.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong grasp of English, with additional EMEA languages a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
