About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Wonderful Recruitment & Development. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and growing our current business ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase revenue and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including High Street, Non-trade, Clearance, Book Clubs, and online businesses
  • Present and identify opportunities for custom projects, and develop promotional plans with retailers, including POS materials

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in business development and/or in a sales role in a publishing, gift, toy, media, or environment
  • Agile communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong base knowledge of the book, toy, and entertainment market
  • Familiarity with developing promotional plans with retailers, including POS materials
  • Ideal prior experience with SAP and Biblio

This is a hybrid role with an office location in central London, offering a competitive salary of c. £35k DOE.
