About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Assessment Practitioner to join our Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing enhanced management and mental health assessment for individuals who contact 999 with mental health crisis via the Mental Health Response Vehicle (MHRV).

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service, including Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services.
  • Provide mental health assessment and management for individuals in crisis, utilizing your expertise in mental health and crisis response.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for individuals in crisis.
Requirements
  • Recognized qualification in mental health, such as RMN, AHP, Psychology, or Social Care (AMHP).
  • Sound knowledge of current professional staff development and continuous service improvement issues, particularly in the context of ADHD and personality disorder services.
  • Knowledge and sensitivity to equal opportunities issues.
