Child Mental Health Specialist

Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (MHST) as Adult Mental Health Practitioners.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the delivery of all interventions provided by Education Mental Health Practitioners and ensuring that a wide range of evidence-based interventions are used to support young people's mental health.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about improving the mental health and well-being of children and young people, with a demonstrable track record of CAMHS and/or MHST clinical and supervisory experience.
Main Responsibilities- Support the delivery of all interventions provided by Education Mental Health Practitioners
- Ensure the use of evidence-based interventions to support young people's mental health
- Promote positive Mental Well-Being and Positive Mental Health
- Contribute to the CAMHS multi-professional team assessing, delivering and evaluating the mental health needs of young people
- Qualified Post Graduate Certificate or above from a provider university as part of the CYP-IAPT programme
- Professional registration with recognised National Body
- Nationally recognised post-qualification, continuous professional development related to the core profession
- Senior Wellbeing Practitioner Course or willingness to undertake course within 12 months of appointment
- Therapeutic Training to intermediate / diploma level
- Experience of inter-agency working
- Experience of writing, implementing and evaluating Care / Treatment Plans
