Job Description

The Focus Resourcing Group is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team in Central Cardiff. In this role, you will provide administration and coordination support to the Fee Earning team, working directly with clients to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the transaction process.

Your key responsibilities will include interacting with new clients, updating clients/agents/solicitors, taking client instructions, preparing draft documents, requesting mortgage redemption figures, ordering searches, and dealing with the exchange of contracts on sales and purchases. You will also order mortgage advances, undertake pre-completion searches, and set up completions while adhering to AML, client care, and compliance procedures. Additionally, you will provide support to conveyancing solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is also essential. You will be friendly, helpful, and professional, with experience working in an administrative role and preferably within the legal sector.

This position offers a competitive salary range of £22,500 - £25,000 depending on experience.
