Role Overview

As a Strategic Sales Director at the Green Recruitment Company, you will be accountable for achieving sales targets with a focus on high-value Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs) in the UK energy sector. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of Account Managers to maximize relationships and develop commercial opportunities, ensuring exceptional service delivery to both internal and external customers.

About the Job

This pivotal role requires a strong understanding of the UK energy market, particularly in retail. You will work closely with leadership to manage TPI risk profiles and compliance, as well as collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies that enhance TPI value. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider sales strategy in collaboration with marketing for product and campaign development.

Key Responsibilities

* Achieve business plan sales targets, including sales margin and gas & electricity volumes.
* Negotiate and implement commercial terms, ensuring valid agreements with all TPIs.
* Manage performance and development of the account management team to meet targets.
* Provide comprehensive reporting on team performance and contract metrics.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record in sales techniques and relationship management, with excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills. A high level of commercial acumen and attention to detail is essential, as well as strong planning, organizational, and motivational skills.
