Salary
This role offers a competitive salary per annum, plus a Company Car, Bonus, and Veolia benefits. The estimated annual salary is around £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience and location.

Job Description
The Energy Compliance Strategist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with energy legislation impacting Veolia's licensed and unlicensed energy activities. This includes leading internal project management and deployment of regulatory incentive schemes, advising stakeholders on implications and risks, and presenting new legislative policies to stakeholders. The role also involves maintaining procedures to ensure compliance with government and market policies, providing monthly submissions and verification of data used to claim fiscal incentives, and ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines for existing regulator schemes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have experience with the UK Emissions Trading System or a similar regulatory background. Your skills should include project management, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
