Job Title: Energy Procurement Strategist

Bramwith Consulting is seeking an experienced Energy Procurement Strategist to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the company's energy procurement strategy.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for evaluating competitive tenders for utility spend and negotiating with suppliers on commercial and contractual matters.
  • You will act as the liaison between the business and the energy broker, managing a spend of around £50m.
  • You will develop and implement comprehensive strategies on a global and regional basis to deliver cost savings and wider commercial benefits.
  • You will build strategic relationships with critical suppliers and develop risk mitigation strategies to provide secure and cost-effective sources for specialist commodities.
  • You will benefit from personally tailored professional development programs to aid your progression within the company.
  • You will assist in all aspects of the sourcing process from supplier engagement and analysis through to contract management.
  • You will work with commercial teams to negotiate contracts and deliver savings and value add for the category.
  • You will develop market know-how and gravitas to influence major decisions across the aviation units by working with senior stakeholders.
  • You will collaborate closely with other members of the procurement team, internal stakeholders, and external parties to seek continued improvement in the category value.
  • You will experience world-class training and development within a procurement function renowned for developing talent internally and progressing them through the ranks.

Requirements:

  • You will have 3-5+ years of experience in energy management, working with energy brokers on the management of electricity, gas, and water.
  • You will have procurement/strategic sourcing/buying experience within complex global organizations.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
