Job Title: Subsea Connection Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Connection Engineer to join our team at Subsea 7. As a key member of our Piping, Valves and Connector Discipline, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions for subsea connector-related packages of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate technical expertise to ensure effective delivery of engineering solutions.
  • Develop and implement solutions to meet commercial and technical needs.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, relevant engineering standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to deliver engineering solutions.
  • Identify and address design parameters and problems.
  • Develop and implement solutions to meet client needs.
  • Ensure technical deliverables are consistent with contractual, code compliance, and relevant agreements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Solid Mechanics and Strength of Materials.
  • Good knowledge of code and standards such as API, DNVGL, ISO especially DNVGL-RP-C.
  • Passion for creating innovative, high-quality products.
  • Familiarity with commercial practices is beneficial for this role.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree (BEng) or equivalent from a recognized institute in Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Automotive, or Naval Architecture.
  • Proven experience in a similar role providing Connector expertise.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Solid Mechanics and Strength of Materials.
  • Good knowledge of code and standards such as API, DNVGL, ISO especially DNVGL-RP-C.
  • Passion for creating innovative, high-quality products.
  • Familiarity with commercial practices is beneficial for this role.
