Job Overview

The Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Estates Department team as a Trainee Clinical Coding Analyst. This role will provide an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in clinical coding and contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective Estates Maintenance service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the provision of maintenance, repair, and replacement services for mechanical, plumbing, and service systems.
  • Undertake reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to prolong the life expectancy of equipment and plant.
  • Conduct TMV maintenance and repairs.
  • Record work carried out via a software package on handheld tablets.
  • Work with minimal supervision to undertake both reactive and planned maintenance.

Person Specification

  • Completion of relevant craft apprenticeship.
  • Recognised trade qualifications.
  • Minimum of three years relevant trade experience.
  • Experience of working in an Acute Hospital environment.
  • Knowledge and operation of Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Understanding of HTM's, statutory and compliance requirements.
  • Safe working practices.
  • Some demonstrable experience relative to the role.

Skills

  • Good communication skills at all levels.
  • Capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Use of Planet FM or similar software packages.
  • Ability to read and interpret Operation and Maintenance manuals and associated drawings.
