We are seeking a highly skilled Resistant Materials specialist to join our vibrant faculty at Wayman Learning Trust in West London. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.

About the Role:
  • Lesson Design and Delivery: Design and deliver engaging and informative Resistant Materials lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
  • Creative Learning Environment: Cultivate a stimulating and creative learning environment that fosters a love of design problem-solving and practical skills.
  • Student Guidance: Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of resistant materials techniques and processes.
  • Examination Preparation: Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE A-Level as applicable).
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in the Design Technology department and contribute to school-wide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status: Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Resistant Materials or a closely related subject.
  • Passion for Teaching: Demonstrates a strong passion for Resistant Materials and a captivating teaching style.
  • Communication Skills: Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
  • Inclusive Learning Environment: Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
