Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Registered General Nurse with a passion for ICU care, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our critical care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, including those on ECMO and other extracorporeal devices.
  • Collaborate with the critical care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in staff development, coaching, supervision, and teaching to enhance the skills of colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of critical care services, including quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
Requirements
  • Registered nurse with valid NMC registration.
  • Evidence of continued professional development to degree level.
  • Post-registration ICU course or Cardiothoracic ICU course, ENB or equivalent (or within 6 months of completing).
  • Experience and training in staff development, coaching, supervision, and teaching.
