Critical Care Clinical Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a band 7 Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will have a positive and supportive impact on the patient and loved one's journey during critical care and their recovery period.
Main Responsibilities- Support the patient's journey from admission to critical care to the recovery phase.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate follow-up clinics post-hospital discharge.
- Provide specialist advice and support to loved ones and patients along their recovery pathway.
- Develop and deliver education and training programs for staff and students.
- Contribute to research and lead clinical audits in the specialty area.

Essential:
- Registered Nurse educated to Degree level or willingness to undertake.
- Relevant post-registration qualification in Critical Care.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
Desirable:
- MSc.
- Teaching qualification.
- Advanced communication skills.
Essential:
- To act in a professional manner at all times in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct.
- Capable of developing liaisons with other practice areas/academic institutions.
- The ability to understand and behave at all times, towards patients, visitors and colleagues according to the Trust values of safe, kind, excellent.
Desirable:
