Critical Care Specialist

Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will have a positive and supportive impact on patients and their loved ones during critical care and recovery. You will work closely with ward areas to support patients and facilitate follow-up clinics post-hospital discharge, following CG83 guidance.
Main Duties
The role supports patients from admission to critical care to the recovery phase. As a recognized expert in Critical Care and post-Critical Care recovery, you will be responsible for making early referrals to multi-disciplinary teams and facilitating follow-up clinics with clinicians. You will engage with psychologists, AHPs, and clinicians to provide specialist advice and support to patients and their loved ones along their recovery pathway.
