Coyne Recruitment is a leading provider of employment services, partnering with reputable organisations across the Employability and Skills sector. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Employment Advisor to support our clients in finding and sustaining employment.

As an Employment Advisor, you will be the front line staff, responsible for supporting unemployed jobseekers with finding and sustaining employment, engaging with employers, and making local communities aware of the benefits of our service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Meeting with jobseekers to identify any challenges and barriers with finding employment.
  2. Addressing a variety of barriers to employment with empathy and compassion.
  3. Building long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure a professional and holistic approach.
  4. Identifying clients' needs and requirements through detailed diagnostics.
  5. Developing SMART weekly action plans to ensure clients are moving closer to employment.
  6. Motivating clients while ensuring an engaging working environment.
  7. Networking with local employers to sell clients' skills and abilities.
  8. Providing information, advice, and guidance relating to clients' circumstances.
  9. Completing Better Off Calculations and benefit advice.
  10. Booking jobseekers to relevant training courses.
  11. Supporting jobseekers with CV writing and job application processes.
  12. Liaising with employers to identify employment opportunities for jobseekers.
  13. Outreach work – promoting products and services within the local community.
  14. Working in a fast-paced environment and meeting strict targets and KPIs.

  3. Well-developed IT skills, including MI systems, spreadsheets, diary management, email, and data security.
  4. Self-motivation and self-confidence.
  5. Negotiation and the ability to challenge.
  6. Ability to work to Key Performance Indicators and challenging targets.
  7. Administration, strong accuracy, numeracy, and literacy, strong integrity.
  8. Ability to network and promote the organisation.
  9. Time management and strong organisational skills.
